you can never have too much sidebar stuff

Date: January 18, 2003 | 15 Dhu-l-Qidah 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: random
I need to post more to this blog. Somehow my sidebar has become much longer than the blog content.

What? You say I should make the sidebar shorter and not have so much stuff in it? Never!

Ever consider having a three-column layout? As in... two sidebars? Then you can shorten your page and in the process increase the chances that people will read what's in your sidebar. Many people read only newer entries in a blog, and them not scrolling down the page means also that they don't read what's on the bottom of the sidebar, IMO.

Try Firda's site for CSS basic templates.

That's what was happening to my blog too, when I was away and not posting much. It makes it look so empty.

Sidebar stuff is fun though.

Dita - I've considered that but I'm afraid it would make the blog content too narrow. I've visted blogs with two sidbars and their middle column is so narrow that it's difficult to read.

I was actually going to add something else to my sidebar but then when I saw what had happened to my page, I decided not to. At least for now tongue
