looking ahead

Date: October 28, 2002 | 21 Shaban 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: school, paralegal
Although the course schedule for winter quarter hasn't been officially released yet, someone in one of my classes works in the printing office and helpfully made photocopies for the class of the paralegal courses that are being offered next quarter. Inshallah, the courses I plan to take are:
  • Introduction to the Legal System
  • Ethics
  • Civil Procedures II
  • Criminal Law and Procedure
I wanted to take the Intro course this quarter but it was already closed by the time I registered, so I have to take it next quarter instead. The Ethics class includes something called the Community Justice Project which involves the students doing volunteer work with organizations that provide legal services to those who can't afford lawyers. I am really looking forward to this!

volunteer work….. excellent program so you are practicing and be involved with client…. we do not have this programs in university… actually the first practice you have to do -to be a licensed lawyer- is after master degree one year at the court and six years in a lawyer office.
