exams and thoughts

Date: October 17, 2002 | 10 Shaban 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: school, paralegal
I have two exams next Monday. We did some practice exercises in both those classes yesterday, and I think that the exams shouldn't be too much trouble after I review my notes and textbooks this weekend, inshallah. Even though it's been seven years since I was last in school, I feel like I'm getting back into the groove again.

Another thing is that I have much better study habits than I did at 18. There's something to be said for being a "mature" student. In high school I never had to spend too much time studying because most of my assignments were so easy to me. I thought that college would be the same way, and I had some rude awakenings at first, lol. Sometimes teenagers think they know everything.

One thing I like about the paralegal program is that there are a large number of other "mature" students in my classes and I can share experiences with them better than with kids fresh out of high school.
