I've just been reading some in-depth stories about the sniper who has shot nearly a dozen people in the D.C. area. Every time I read about senseless killings in the news I wonder if the world is going mad. I remember thinking that especially after the Columbine shootings, and I've thought it a lot in the last year or so. There's so much violence and hatred these days. May Allah SWT help and guide us all.

The sniper thing is so scary. To think that someone would actually do something like that... you never know who's next.
