Muslim Lawyers website

Date: September 26, 2002 | 19 Rajab 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: law, issues
Muslim Lawyers - This looks like an interesting site. As I learn more about the American legal system I'm interested in understanding how it is similar to and differs from the Islamic legal system. Is it just the specific laws that are different, or are the prinicples different too? Are there ways to work within the existing structure of the American legal system to make laws that are fairer to Muslims and/or closer to the Shari'a?

P.S. I like to see the hijabi sisters in the picture on the website smile

I've found some other sites about or for Muslim lawyers and I joined an email discussion group for the National Association of Muslim Lawyers. Inshallah, something good will come out of this smile
