good news, al-hamdulillah

Subjects: school, unemployment
The Employment Service approved my application and I will be able to continue receiving unemployment benefits while going to school. Instead of sending out resumes, I can concentrate on my studies, and they still consider me to be doing something active to seek employment and therefore deserving of benefits.

I also finally got notice from the community college letting me know that they had accepted payment of my tuition from my Worker Retraining scholarship.

Usually my mailbox is full of junk, or bills, but today there were two good things in it. Now if only my bank statement was so cheery...
