argh! darn computers!

Date: August 07, 2002 | 28 Jumada al-Awwal 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: family
Well, I finally fixed the problem I was having that the comments forms wouldn't remember the info. Everything should be working correctly now, inshallah.

Meanwhile, my mom's computer is screwed up. Whenever she boots up, it freezes after about one minute so she can't do anything at all, even shut it off normally. She had me come over to her house this morning so I could take a look at the computer and run Norton Disk Doctor. NDD claimed to find only one minor problem, but the computer was still freezing even after that. So we took it over to CompUSA for repairs.

It was kind of funny the two of us trying to carry around this huge old box with the computer in it, because I'm 5'0" and my mom is 5'2". Too bad my dad was at work because, as the joke says, one thing men are good for is lifing heavy stuff . But we managed, and we got a clerk at CompUSA to help us bring it into the store. They think that the operating system has become corrupted.
