keeping busy offline

My previous employer has called me in as a contract worker for two days next week to do some updates to their website and help out with some other computer work. The pay isn't that much more than the unemployment benefits I'm getting for that week, but it keeps me busy.

I am currently investigating the field of environmental law to see if I would like to become a paralegal and do that kind of work. Right now this is my preferred choice for a new career field to move into. Geographical information systems sounds interesting but the career prospects don't seem to be as good. What I need right now are employable skills so I can get myself a good full-time job and get back on my feet.
