a beautiful hadith 2

Sahih Bukhari Volume 8, Book 76, Number 471:

Narrated 'Aisha: the Prophet said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise [only the mercy of Allah will do that], and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even though it were little."

This hadith is very comforting to me and a reminder of how merciful Allah SWT is to us. Allah SWT does not lose the work of any of us, however small (see also Surah Ali Imran ayah 195). So we should never feel that it's not worth it to do some little thing. Who knows what good Allah SWT might bring about from it!
