a beautiful hadith 3

Date: June 12, 2002 | 1 Rabi al-Akhir 1423 Hijriah
Subjects: hadith
Sahih Bukhari Volume 8, Book 76, Number 482:

Narrated Abu Huraira: the Prophet said, "Whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should talk what is good or keep quiet, and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should not hurt (or insult) his neighbor; and whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day, should entertain his guest generously."

It is a good reminder to us all to "talk what is good or keep quiet." Sadly, people too often speak with words that have no purpose except to hurt others. May Allah SWT guide us to do what is pleasing to Him at all times. Ameen.
