Subjects: family
My mom is doing much better now, al-hamdulillah. She is on a new course of antibiotics for the next week or so, but she sounds like herself again instead of sounding so weak and tired.

I've added a new feature to my site, the GuestMap. There's a link button in the left panel of this page. It's a guestbook, with a twist. You can mark on a map where you're from. Inshallah, I hope that everybody will take a moment and sign the guestmap.

Awhile ago I posted about problems I was having ordering some books and stuff. I had to send three emails to the company before I finally got a response. They say that they can't find my order or payment but they went ahead anyway to ship the items I had mentioned. I really don't know what the heck happened to my order because I haven't gotten it back for insufficient postage or wrong address or anything like that. I'm glad that they were willing to ship the items on my word that I had ordered them. I guess that's the benefit of being a repeat customer. Inshallah, the items should arrive in about a week and a half (would be sooner except for the Independence Day holiday). It seems like forever since I ordered them. It was a book of tafsir, a book of du'as and a new niqab.
