Arabic text of ayah

A'adda Allahu lahum 'adhaban shadidan fa ittaqu Allaha ya uli al-albabi alladhina amanu qad anzala Allahu ilaykum dhikran

Allah has prepared for them a strong punishment. So fear Allah, O you who have minds, those who have faith, because Allah ahs sent down for you a reminder

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

Allah the Exalted threatens those who defy His commands, deny His Messengers and contradict His legislation, by informing them of the end that earlier nations met who did the same
