Surah al-Mulk ayah 29

Date: December 10, 2004 | 27 Shawwal 1425 Hijriah
Arabic text of ayah

Qul huwa al-rahmanu amanna bi hi wa 'alayhi tawakkalna fa sata'lamoona man huwa fee dalalin mubinin

Say: He is the Most Merciful, we have faith in Him and in Him we put our trust, so you will come to know which of us is clearly astray

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

Meaning, 'we believe in the Lord of all that exists, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, and upon Him we rely in all of our affairs
