Surah al-Mulk ayah 11

Date: November 11, 2004 | 28 Ramadan 1425 Hijriah

Fa i'tarafu bi dhanbihim fa suhqan li ashabi as-sa'iri

So they will confess their sins, so away with the companions of the blaze

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

Imam Ahmad recorded from Abu Al-Bakhtari At-Ta'i that he heard from one of the Companions that the Messenger of Allah said, 'The people will not be destroyed until they themselves confess their guilt'
