Surah al-Qalam ayah 33

Ka dhalika al-'adhabu wa laa'adhabu al-akhirati akbaru law kanu ya'lamuna

Such is the punishment, and the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if only they knew

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

This is the punishment in this life, as you have heard, and the punishment of the Hereafter is even harder
