Surah al-Ma'arij ayah 44

Khashi'atan absaruhum tarhaquhum dhillatun dhalika al-yawmu alladhi kanu yu'aduna

Their eyes are lowered in their dejection, humiliated. That is the day they were promised

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

[Their humiliation is] in return for how they behaved arrogantly in the worldly life by refusing to be obedient
