Surah al-Muzzammil ayah 8

Date: June 21, 2003 | 19 Rabi al-Akhir 1424 Hijriah

Wa udhkuri isma rabbika wa tabattal ilayhi tabtil

And remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him completely

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

Make much remembrance (Dhikr) of Him, devote yourself to Him and spend your time worshipping Him when you have completed your occupations and what you need from the affairs of your worldly matters... make your worship solely for Him alone
