Surah al-Inshiqaq ayah 25

Date: December 06, 2002 | 1 Shawwal 1423 Hijriah
Arabic text of ayah

Illa alladhina amanu wa amilu as-salihati la hum ajrun ghayrun mamnun

Except those who have faith and do righteous deeds, for them is a reward that will never come to an end

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

In contrast to them, the believers are given glad tidings of great rewards they will receive from their Lord. These bountiful rewards will be given to them in the first place out of mercy from their Lord and not as right for their deeds
