Surah ad-Duha ayah 10

Fa amma as-sa'ila fa laa tanhar

And do not drive away the beggar

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

The surah then urges us not to reject the beggar scornfully and teaches us that even if one is not in a position to give alms to a beggar, he should not show a stern face. He should rather apologize in a mild tone

as-sa'il is the one who ask for somethink and not begging for somethink very tough translation in my opinion. ALLAH want us not to reject somebody who ask us for help...

Brother, the translations of the Quran used here are by Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din Al-Hilali and Muhammad Muhsin Khan. If you have a problem with their translation, you should take it up with them.
