Surah ad-Duha ayah 9

Fa amma al-yatima fa laa taqhar

Therefore, do not oppress the orphan

The following is an excerpt of commentary on this ayah, from Tafsir Ibn Kathir:

With regard to the injunctions to show mercy to an orphan, Qatadah says that one's behavior to an orphan should be like his behavior to his own sons and daughters
