Veiled for Allah (www.muhajabah.com/islamicblog/veiled4allah.php) is an extraordinary weblog that uses the essential tenets of Islamic doctrine to stir up discussions on topics from the war on Iraq to fine art. Run by a Muslim woman studying in America, the site embodies much that is life-affirming - though such high-minded material inevitably attracts criticism, with some visitors deriding it as "poisonous" and "Islamofascist".
