8 months to victory

WesPAC sent the following email on March 2, 2006

It's already March, and the 2006 campaign season is swinging into high gear. Democrats are looking strong in races up and down the ballot all across the country. And with the way things are going, winning Democratic control of the Senate and the House is looking more and more possible.

But we've got a lot of work to do between now and then. We've got lots of issues to speak out on, lots of good candidates to travel for and support.

And with your help, I will continue to do just that.

Please give WesPAC the resources we need to fight for the issues and candidates that will make a difference this November -- contribute today!

With your support I am able to travel across the country, speaking out about what needs to be done to turn things around before it's too late.

It is an honor for me to have the chance to give voice to your values and priorities. Recently I have appeared before the New America Foundation and the Council on Foreign Relations to speak about the Bush Administration's fumbled war policies and how it has lost its focus on winning the war on terrorism. I have been working with candidates and organizations from coast to coast, and in the months ahead I am traveling even more to take our fight to the people and work on behalf of candidates.

From California and Texas to New York and Washington, DC I am making the case for Democrats. And I continue to appear on Fox News to offer my commentary on the issues of the day -- reaching an important audience that needs to hear a new and different perspective.

Without WesPAC, I wouldn't be able to do these things. And that's why I'm asking for your help, to give WesPAC the resources we need to stay out front on the many critical issues facing America.

Contribute to WesPAC today!

But it's not just about issues -- it's also about the Democratic candidates who are spreading our message in their campaigns for Congress and statehouses across America: Great Americans like Mike Beebe in Arkansas, Eric Massa in New York, Juan Garcia in Texas, Jim Pederson in Arizona, Claire McCaskill in Missouri, and all of the veterans running this year who served our country in the military and are looking to continue their service in public office.

I've already hit the campaign trail with many of these candidates, and will be out there even more in the weeks and months to come.

That's why WesPAC is so important -- and that's why your support makes all the difference.

Please help us fight for the issues and candidates that will get America back on track -- contribute to WesPAC today!

We've got a lot of work ahead of us. I hope I can count on you to stand with me in this fight for the future of America.

Sincerely,

Wes Clark

Don't we owe it to ourselves to be all that we can be as a people of faith? To reach out and offer hope and opportunity to the least among us? To preach peace and prosperity and to live equality and justice? (source)
