Clark supports single-payer healthcare system

Scott Shields at MyDD notices that Wes Clark Endorses Transition to Single-Payer.

Woot! First progressive taxation, now single-payer heathcare. Clark is pretty darn progressive on domestic issues. We just don't notice because of always wanting him to talk about national security or foreign policy.

Added: He also called for publicly-funded preschool education for all, another policy usually only promoted by progressives like Dennis Kucinich. Also, he implied public funding for college, another Kucinich policy. And stronger unions. Read the transcript again. This is why I support Clark.

Discussion.

Clark Quote

Don't we owe it to ourselves to be all that we can be as a people of faith? To reach out and offer hope and opportunity to the least among us? To preach peace and prosperity and to live equality and justice? (source)
