Honoring Our Veterans

The following message was posted on Clark's website for Veteran's Day

***

Today is a day when every American should set aside time to thank the brave men and women who have served in the Armed Forces of the United States. It is a wonderful opportunity for parents and grandparents to tell the youngest family members the stories of family and friends who have helped defend our great nation. Indeed it is a time to teach the importance of volunteering to serve our country.

On this Veterans Day, we should all take time and find ways to support the young men and women whose lives are protecting ours.

We also want to take time on this Remembrance Day to thank every American who has ever served his or her country.

America owes our soldiers, past, present and future our undying love and gratitude for being the embodiment of our core values: Patriotism, Faith and Service.

Clark Quote

Don't we owe it to ourselves to be all that we can be as a people of faith? To reach out and offer hope and opportunity to the least among us? To preach peace and prosperity and to live equality and justice? (source)
